nice but not easy at first January 8, 2009 D. Lowenstein (Maryland) Once you can figure out how to get the photos on the device,it works nicely and is a great gadget to have to show off pics. We had some trouble at first, and the directions seemed like they were written in India or something. I can't even give specifics of how we got it to work--it just took some fiddling with the program.
coby digital picture key chain January 8, 2009 V. Caputo (Guilderland, NY) I found the software and sequence for connecting the key chain and transferring pictures a little cumbersome. Once that was figured out, though the pictures display nicely on the key chain.
Not compatable. January 6, 2009 J. Foscante (CA, USA) This digital key chain is more complicated than others I have used. I purchased three different brands of key chains for X-mas gifts for various people. This is the only one I couldn't get to work. This one came with a installation CD that I could not install and therefore could not load pictures on the key chain. Other key chains come with a USB cord and you are on your way. I ended up returning this one and buying another at a store on Christmas Eve.
installation difficult January 6, 2009 R. Landis (Pittsburgh, PA United States) Coby 1.5-Inch Digital Photo Keychain (White) We were unsuccessful installing the software and loading pictures using the enclosed disk. We went to the Coby internet site and downloaded current software and more specific installation instructions and were finally successful. It shouldn't take several hours of frustrating effort to install a $12 product. Displays photos ok after all the labor.
It is what it is January 6, 2009 D. Schrengost (Cleveland, OH) It is worth the price for what it is, a nice small thing to carry pics on your key chain with. I noticed other reviews that had problems with the install of the software but I had no problem with it to a Vista OS. If you want the whole pic to show, you have to use some type of photo program (I use PhotoImpact 8) to expand the canvas size to square dimensions. Other than that it is fairly decent.
